Sandals Water Restaurants
Set directly above the sea, this project redefines waterfront dining through a timeless wooden architecture that blends with its marine surroundings. The design is divided into three distinct restaurant sections, each offering a unique dining experience while sharing a cohesive architectural language of warm timber, open-air verandas, and panoramic ocean views.
Expansive decks connect the pavilions, creating a fluid circulation that allows guests to wander between different culinary environments. By day, the interiors are bathed in natural light through floor-to-ceiling glass; by night, the ambiance transforms with subtle integrated lighting that reflects off the water, creating a serene atmosphere.
The structure celebrates craftsmanship and sustainability, with locally inspired wood finishes, lattice details, and shaded pergolas that enhance comfort while maintaining a refined resort character. Arriving by boat or strolling the boardwalk, guests encounter not just a restaurant, but an immersive overwater destination where dining, architecture, and nature converge.
