Cazaubon Residence

This modern two-level duplex residence, designed for Mr. Verne Cazaubon in Castries, St. Lucia, was carefully planned to maximize functionality and comfort on a narrow lot, achieving a contemporary architectural style that balances efficiency with elegance. The ground floor features a welcoming porch leading to an open-plan living and dining area, a well-appointed kitchen, laundry, and a spacious terrace, while the private wing includes a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a secondary bedroom, and a common bathroom, all connected by clear circulation and stairs to the upper level. Built with 200 mm exterior masonry block walls, 150–100 mm interior partitions, and a reinforced flat concrete roof with integrated drainage, the structure is designed for strength and resilience in the tropical environment. Aluminum and glass exterior carpentry paired with warm wood interior finishes complete the home’s balance of modern design and lasting performance, offering a total living area of approximately 172.9 m².
